Your event, my mission
My name is Bodine and I'm so happy you're here! After completing my studies in Neuroscience, I spent over five years working in behavioral and sustainability consulting. For the past two years, I’ve also been active as a speaker and (event) moderator, helping form impactful events and creating space for dialogue.
Making your event successful starts well before the doors open. I partner with you from the early planning stages, thinking strategically about how each element supports your events' objectives. My mission is to speed up the sustainability transition, which means to me: building an economy and society that protects the climate, only takes what the planet can give, and treats people fairly. Hosting events that help move us toward that future, contributes to this mission.

Programme design
I've helped many clients translate their event goals into a clear, engaging flow: from the opening moment to the closing call-to-action. Working as a sustainability consultant, I can also help with the content.
Panel and debate
Ensure smooth discussions and clarify where needed. Debates and panels can get in-depth. It's my role to keep it understandable for everybody. My work in sustainability helps me ask the right questions.
Speaker introductions
It's so important to make it personal. I always call the speakers beforehand and research their work so I can introduce them in a non-standard way. This makes them feel ready and excited for the event.
Time-keeping and engagement
I keep the program on track and speakers on time, always politely. I love reading the room and bringing energy when it’s needed.
Sometimes, that calls for improvisation, which I love.

What services do I, as a moderator, offer for events?
I'll ensures smooth proceedings, engagement, and effective communication among speakers and audiences. I'm not afraid to be critical and is good in handling resistance. Humor plays a big role in my moderation work.
What types of events do I cover?
A wide range of events including conferences, panel discussions, team building, corporate meetings and internal company events to ensure dynamic and engaging sessions.
Do I offer multilingual moderation services?
Yes, I moderate in both Dutch (my native language) and English. Having spent my childhood in China, I used English daily, so I speak and think in it with ease.
